Walls of Dubrovnik
are a series of defensive stone walls surrounding the city of Dubrovnik in southern Croatia. It is the most beautiful part of town, and many people come to see this place because of it.
With numerous additions and modifications throughout their history, they have been considered to be amongst the high fortification systems of the Middle Ages, as a hostile army never breached them during this period. In 1979, the old city of Dubrovnik joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
The entire walls are designed to see the sea from all sides, and that’s why they are therefore unique and attractive.
